Chamber Mission:

To be The Voice of Business of business in the borough of Richmond upon Thames – ensuring business prospers by listening/communicating local businesses’ ideas and views to Government, media, organisations and community and by organising enjoyable, informative events, sector specific forums, workshops, masterclasses, mentoring and other business activities.

Cornerstone and prestigious headline business events the Chamber organises locally include the The Richmond Business Awards they manage jointly with the Richmond and Twickenham Times held at the RFU in Twickenham and the Richmond Entrepreneurs Conference at Richmond Adult College in central Richmond. 

The Chamber offers its members valuable business services and commercial benefits such as: mentoring, marketing, advertising and sponsoring to over 5,000 local businesses. An independent non profit organisation and a company limited by guarantee, the Chamber has a small board with a rotating chair comprising: a Company Secretary, Greg Vincent ; a CEO, Anne Newton; and 2 Non Execs, Anthony Cooke and John Ellis.

Our Chamber Committee chaired by our CEO, comprises Forum Representatives, who each represent a sector of our local economy:- Corporate and Hospitality Forum, Ivor Turner; SME and Tech Forum Ann Chapman; Micro and IT Forum Mark Lilleyman; Charities and Non-profit Forum Sarah Roberts; Professional Forum Simon Levene; and Education Forum, Robin Ghurbhurun.

On-going activity is reported in the monthly e-newsletter: one Newsletter to our Members – the Members Forum; and one to our wider audience – the Voice of Business. Both newsletters detail the weekly learning and development, information-sharing and social networking events taking place at all times of the day and evening to suit everyone’s schedules. The Chamber is considered to deliver great value to businesses of all sizes and is professional, relevant, incisive and thoroughly connected within the Borough of Richmond; that is the area from Hampton to Barnes including Teddington, Twickenham, Whitton, Sheen, Ham, Richmond, Petersham, Kew and Mortlake..the main business platform connecting over 5,000 businesses covering the whole Borough.
