At the Chamber our mission is to see that the concerns of the business community are properly articulated and, to that end, we aim to speak to as many of the local businesses as possible through different methods, to find out what their concerns are, and to feed those concerns back to the relevant responsible body – most often the Council. We are delighted that we have a very good working relationship with both the Leader of the Council and the Chief Executive and have regular meetings with them both to bring up areas of concern.   

The results of our endeavours are reported in the bi-weekly e-newsletter which is sent out from the Chamber office, which also includes information about all of the kinds of events taking place. There are breakfasts, evening networking, drop-in for business advice with our CEO, seminars, training and a whole host of events for you to enjoy and use to further your business.
